This shape of hand painted, glazed, ceramic planter is known in Mexico as a Violetera. Its attractive shape and colours make it a perfect feature for a windowsill and it is ideal as a plant pot cover having only slightly tapered sides. The Cafe Girasol Violetera is named after the sunflower which is known in Mexico as Girasol. The light coffee coloured background is a perfect backdrop for this cheerful design which gives a feeling of warmth and sunshine. The orange sunflower is complimented by small simple white flowers and green leaves, a red and green rim and a glazed finish.
Can be used as a cover for an existing plant pot (recommended) or for direct planting.
