This highly unusual Small Black Pottery Decorative Globe is an authentic example of the Mexican style of pottery known as Barro Negro. The globes (known in Mexico as Canteros) are handmade and supplied with a reed base which allows them to stand either way up. Used with a tee candle (not included) light radiates through the perforations to produce wonderful patterns and create a soft ambience.
