Product Description
The Alonso Luis Talavera hand painted platter shown here in the Imperial design is the smaller of the two available but is a very generous size having a length of 433mm. The flowing fluted edge is bordered by a dark blue rim and features a floral motif, interspersed with a lattice background, which matches the dining plates. Inside the outer decoration is a yellow border with serpentine pattern. It leads into the centre of the platter, which contains the Imperial design quarter florets surrounded by subdued blue flowers, and a central floral motif. This immensely striking platter is ideal for serving fish, pre-cut meat, cheese or cold meats, and provides a dramatic centre piece for the table.
