This Large Oval Serving Dish with lid has the capacity to serve a diverse range of different foods and do so with elegance. It is striking in both its proportions and design. The flowing fluted edges outlined with a deep blue border, match those of the platters, the deep high sided serving dish and the dining plates, and together they present a most impressive dinner service. The dish and the lid are decorated with the quarter florets and bold blue brushstokes characteristic of the Imperial design, and the top of the lid has a yellow band with serpentine design which leads the eye to the deep blue knob.
