The Alonso Luis Talavera hand painted ceramic round serving dish with lid shown here in the Botanero Ingles design is a beautifully proportioned dish and a delightful addition to any table setting. Known in Mexico as a cacerola this dish would be perfect to serve casserole to guests, but is not suitable for oven cooking. Equally well suited for serving hot buttered vegetable or rice this versatile dish will be sure to attract comment.
Dark blue handles on either side of the dish compliment its proportions and add to ease of serving.
The outside of this most elegant dish is decorated with hand painted floral and blue motifs with a small delicate pattern added around the centre of the lid and the bottom of the dish.
